It was a GREAT family escapade

The short trip was awesome

Everybody had fun... rasa tak nak balik rumah!!!

How I wish we can stay longer in

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!!!

Day 1 – 14th November 2009

We touched down at KKIA around 10am…

panas giler cuaca kat KK.

Lagi panas dari KL gamaknyer.

Tepi laut kan... waktu siang panasnya memang semacam.

Lepas je collect luggage… we all check in kat Cititel Ekspress KK.

Simple… clean… brand new hotel.

Baru je launching in August 2009.

We opted for triple sharing… 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed.

RM170 per night. Kira OK la kan? Reasonably priced.

Hotel ni situated around 5min taxi ride to Filipino Market…

Waterfront… Plaza Warisan.

Betul-betul depan hotel ni hentian teksi.

Teksi berderet memanjang..

tak payah pening-pening kepala nak cari teksi... cool!

Oh ya… this hotel allows you to check in early

at no extra charge (if rooms are available of coz!)

Convinient!!

After refreshing ourselves…

we decided to hev lunch kat 1 Borneo.

Perghhh… jauh gak dari KK town.

Naik teksi dalam 20min jugak le nak ke sana.

Kene tambang RM20.

1 Borneo… KK largest shopping center.

Situated opposite University Malaysia Sabah (UNIMAS)

Ada 4 hotel kat situ… 1 Borneo… Tune Hotel… Novotel…

and 1 more hotel yang dah lupa namanye.

Kalau nak pusing-pusing Filipino Market …

Pasar Ikan Masin… KK town, nak enjoy trip to KK…

enjoy night life KK… janganle duduk kat hotel-hotel di 1 Borneo ni.

Jauh!! Naik teksi ke KK town, 1 way je dah RM20!!

Takkan nak turun KK town sekali je sehari.

Kalau sewa kete… shud be OK la kot.

Setakat jenjalan kat shopping complex,

sama je cam ronda-ronda hujung minggu

kat Mid Valley… Pavilion… Sunway Pyramid.

Not worth the trip!!

Malamnye kitaorang ronda-ronda Filipino Market plak.

Tak dapat nak dinner di sana since hujan…

so opted to dine in at

Port View Seafood Village kat Waterfront.

Memang sedap and fresh seafood dia.

A bit pricy… tapi sekali sekala nak splurge.. apa salahnye!!

Ada ketam goreng cili kering

Nyummeh!!

Sabah vegetable goreng with belacan

Macam pucuk paku tapi takde daun...sedap!!

Kalau ke Sabah, janga lupa order ye

Wet butter prawn...

rasa cam prawn berendam dengan cheese

sinful tapi lazat!!

Burrrppp.... alhamdulillah

Malam itu…

 lena tido dengan perut kenyang setelah seharian berjalan!!

Esok… Day 2 pulak… ke mana kita bah?
